Looking to learn about how much this Wayne 60 Narrow Body pump project is worth. Bought it more than 20 years ago, disassembled. Have some small parts and hardware not pictured. Note: one large panel is original; the other is not. Would need to be replaced with a repro or a DIY copy.

No reply yet, but I did find an unrestored Wayne 60 that sold at a Mecum auction in June of 2023: https://www.mecum.com/lots/1090082/1930s-1940s-wayne-gas-pump-model-60/Sold For $2,360I also found another one in similar unrestored condition. It was offered for sale in this forum in August 2020 for $2,500 (I do not know if it sold). I am still hoping to get some input here. Thanks, Bill

I'll chime in since you haven't got any replies. Pumps that are torn apart aren't as easy to sell for obvious reasons. There's going to be a significantly smaller market of buyers willing to take on a project pump....so some price deduction is to be expected once you find an average price for unrestored pumps like yours. I just took on a project pump that was already tore apart...I estimated the value to be $500 less than an assembled pump in similar condition.

Yes they are a harder sale. And basket case pumps like this are always missing some parts, maybe just small parts. But in my experience theres always something missing out of the bunch.

Sounds like the only advantage to having been disassembled is that it will be easier to transport. I appreciate you both letting me know about the disadvantages, and I will consider those when deciding on an asking price.
I do have a lot of other small parts and hardware that I will add to the photos when I actually list it for sale.
