Wow, very cool! I like your set-up, I usually end up using paint sticks and clamps to hold the plate down, and then use my harbor freight stamps against the paint sticks to get a decent row of letters. Works OK, not great. I think the eye is not very forgiving of text not being at the same height (up/down), but spacing being a little off is just fine. Nice you'll have that all set up for future stamps.
