I seems that it never fails, a project will spawn several more. The restoration project of my Wayne 60 did just that. In the task of trying to find a good local engraver for the ID tag I decided to use the metal stamps I already had. The challenge is to accurately hold the stamp in relation to each other and the ID plate. My solution is the creation of an XY machine to hold the single stamps. I think all in all, it is a success. The depth of the impression allows for a paint fill. I am pretty happy with the results. The tag shown is my first practice try.
