Thought this item on Craig List was interesting. It's a suitcase with two Shellane gas bottles and hose inside. It was owned by the Bastian-Blessing Company of Chicago. Here's a quote from the net about the company:

"The Bastian Blessing Co. was founded in Chicago in 1908 by two friends named Bastian and Blessing. They made fountain parts, carbonators and brass goods, according to Dr. Dave Seibold in his local history tome, "Grand Haven in the Path of Destiny."

By 1930, the company had moved its entire operation to Grand Haven's east side to manufacture complete soda fountains."

From this info, I would assume these bottles are pre-1930.
