Restoring a Bennett 766 to authentic Sinclair HC 1939-1955 color scheme as shown in PCM guide to pump restoration book page 186 top left image. It describes a white 6" band centered on green side panels. My pump definitely had this white band, below 3 coats of green, sonoco blue, etc. Would anyone have a picture they could post showing this white band for my painter? I saw one somewhere once and now can't come up with the pic. many thanks and stay warm!

Never seen one restored or unrestored with the white stripe before. Nice that the standard says its centered at 33" and 6" wide, should be enough for your painter if you cant find a pic. One just sold at Mecum Kissimmee but not with the white stripe.

Here is a photo posted recently by RetroPetro on our "Great Old Pics" thread. It shows a vertical white band on the side of a Sinclair HC pump. Looks like the white band is 6" wide and 33" tall.

My 76 was originally in that paint scheme so I restored it back to original. I just took the measurements off of the old skins before I blasted them.
