Hello, I had a very similar 10 gallon Fry pump, much like your taller one, mine also had a large heavy cast iron base that made the pump around 9' tall. I sold it in 2007 at a swap meet for $1000. At the time I felt that was a good price. I think it would bring more now so I agree with the $1500 range.
It is easier to find buyers for things now with online sites. Do not be afraid to offer it here if you decide to sell.
