I was at the Roundtop antique show many years ago here in central Texas. Ran across an original Independent oil black, red,and white sign. Could have bought it for $200 and walked away because he wouldn’t come down to $175. Probably worth $1500 today. Sometimes being cheap is “frugal” sometimes it’s just “dumb”.
