There is no doubt, glass over acrylic!! My first go at this visible thing. If the acrylic really takes a ***** over time, It can always be replaced.

I should have mentioned. I am doing a fresh restoration and the acrylic cylinder that I have is brand new. It just seems to have a haze to it. I took some micro fiber and warm water to it, and then a dry fiber clothe. Seems to have cleared up some. I just want it to look it's best before final assemble tomrrow.
