So was the Culmers company taken over by Utah Oil or what's the relationship there Peter???
LOL they painted half the power pole to blend in with the station...
Wanted early tin litho signage.

Hello Kim . Good question, I don't know much about the relationship between Utah oil refining company and the Culmers company other than they were very close back in the 20s and 30s , Culmers stations sold pep 88 gasoline and Vico motor oil as well as there own brand of oils and grease's .Then it was like Culmers dissappeared from the scene . The cans are really hard to find I only have 1 five gallon square can and a road map , a few other guys got some and I'm willing to bet you have a few . Have a great weekend

I've shown this picture before but here is a blowup of the Wayne 490 and 492 Romans . I can only dream of finding a 490. I think I found another Utah Station with 2 Wayne 490 Romans, one with a broken base . When I zoom in I loose clarity but I see different looking tops narrower column's and lower flatter base's . Anyways my question of the day is doe's anyone have one of these in the collection? or know of someone? I would love to see a picture . Thanks

Wasatch Man - your Firestone Service Stores photo appears to be the Grand Opening of the store at Broadway and 2nd East in Salt Lake City in August 1934. This photo looks like the same store.
I love those Wayne 50-A display pumps!
