I found out about Carrie Fisher two days ago from my 14 year old in-tears niece. And heard on the radio about her mother today on the ride home from visiting family in PA.

Heard the explanation about Debbie later, but my first thought was she died of a broken heart.

For the famous who have died - it's also the passing of several eras of our history.
