Andy's reply to my question wasn't an answer that had anything to do with my question.

Wes...4 Imperial Gallons is the same a 5 Gallons.

Some 5 quart cans are marked 1 Imperial Gallon.

Canadian 5 quart cans are marked just that, 5 quart can. ( to the best of my knowledge)..
