I only post on here occasionally and most of the times it is to ask a question. You made reference to the fact that a lot of newbies only ask questions and do not offer anything.
Being a newbie is a double edged sword. I would like to add more but do not feel I have the knowledge being a newbie.
I offered an answer once about a Texaco sign trying to convince myself I had gotten smarter by perusing this site. Of course I got the answer wrong and was quickly reminded to not give any information as opposed to giving wrong information.
I will always remember something my machine shop teacher told me over 30yrs. ago "There is no such thing as a stupid question, just dumb mistakes".
