Paul,
You are forgetting the adage when dealing with the less knowledgeable, "There are no stupid questions".
Now if he'd said "I've got three signs I want to ship but they are 20 feet up the wall and I don't have a ladder or a screwdriver to remove the screws and my scale is broken anyway, can you help me out with what they might weigh?" Is it still unreasonable to answer?
BTW, thanks to Advertologist for responding with an answer as the only 30" sign I have currently has a 9" hole in it so any weight I gave would be inaccurate.... LOL.
Paul, It's not just that. I take offense to all the newbies who have come to this site......asked a million questions, when if they thought about it, could figure it out. Some then debate the answers. Once they have gotten what they wanted, then have faded away never to be heard from again. I have vivid memories of several in the last year. They bring northing to this site, offer no help and are basically a drain on the time of anyone who offer. I guess I'm tired of trying to help people who will not help themselves first. I have had two phone calls, this morning from Old Gas Members who agree with me.....I guess I hit a nerve? Paul
