A half inch hole isnt very big. By the time you put a grommet in there you have a smaller hole- like for hanging. When they punch for neon, doesnt it require a larger hole? like 1" or something like that? A good-even just decent, diamond core bit should go through just about anything-cooled with water. Porcelain is hard, but diamonds are harder.You would be best to use drill press type rig.Whats that they say about haters? Haters gonna hate. Fakers gonna punch. Crooks gonna hamma. PS-I hate punchin.
