Wow! Look at the picture of Jim Clark right there! That is heaven right there!
Did a quick bit of research including looking into my copy of "Colin Chapmans, The man and his cars". Formula 1 itself was at one time a hobby of mine. The first rear engine Lotus was the lotus 18. And from the 18 on, Lotus had a trailing arm type rear suspension as seen in your picture of Clark in what I believe is a Lotus 24 or 25. The car on the can appears to have a dual A arm configured rear suspension. So I would not think this to be a Lotus.
There are many other things that point to the 60ish Cooper like mirror placement, the wide oval grille opening, the air/duct opening in the side just below the driver.
But just as I'm about to hit submit on this posting, I noticed something. The graphic on the can has a rectangular nose badge and Cooper had a round nose badge.
So who knows. There could be some artistic liberties taking place with the graphic and it really doesn't represent any actual car.

BTW, Very cool add with the Lotus in it!!!!
Here's a picture of a Cooper for the record.
