19 3/8 is what mine is too. It is up high above garage door and I didn't have a ladder handy last nite.... I didn't allow enough for parallax when reading tape from below. Thanks for verifying Sid.

Here is another chevy sign that has the darker midnight blue.
Is this a repro or original? Could it have had neon on it at one time?

Oh and thanks everyone for all the feedback so far.

I have one similar to this, can't say if identical without further comparison (been a while since I looked at it). I believe it to be off a larger outdoor sign which would likely have had neon. This small portion would not be neon.

This is one version that was attached to a larger outdoor sign. It has a flange type bracket on the rear. What are the dimensions of this second sign you've posted? With all those holes, one would think it was neon. The one I've posted is around 4x12 inches.

the small blue/white bowtie pictured goes on the bottom of the small (4')keyhole shaped OK Used Cars (both neon and non-neon versions). The yellow/blue bowtie OP shows is too small too have been neoned IMO. The holes there are for mounting it to the larger sign. Typically if there is neon on a sign it will have larger (1.25" or 1.75") holes for the neon tubes to enter sign interior. I will measure the yellow/blue bowtie I have for comparison.
