I'd value it closer to $500 with the script ESSO and Ethyl tag which are a popular combination to find. The damage detracts some as does the length, but the overall appeal with the colors will drive the price decently. If the sign were 1/2 the size I can imagine quite a lot of collectors would find it even more appealing. Collecting anything keeps you young at heart!
