You have a parking meter question and I am currently working on shelves to hold a few of my meters.
That bracket is very interesting. I have never seen one like it with any of the meters I have. To make a guess I would say it goes inside the coin vault and is held down with the same bolt that tightens the mounting wedges. That would be my best guess.

Thanks Mike. If I can figure it out too I will let you as well. Maybe its not for a Duncan which I have. I will be getting my first meter on Monday and maybe the part will be in there lol
PS Mike could you take a few pics of the inside of one of your Duncan 60 or 76 so I could have some reference of what the inside looks like and how does the nob come off and the coin door? have a great weekend
