I really enjoyed seeing how things were done(mostly by hand) back in the day.I can't beleive how wet they poured concrete back then.
They are pouring wet, but if you notice, they are using dry shake or surface hardener after most of the bleed water's gone. That method is much less common today. Today its mostly used to color the surface -for decorative concrete or on factory floors. Sometimes they use Emory, steel, granite- makes the surface HARD.
