It appears to me that this was part of a special order by Magnolene from Bennett, therefore Bennett embossed their name on the lids. Years later it was sold as used equipment and someone who sold Mobil purchased it. They probably painted it and put Mobil decals on it, not worrying about the lids.
I would forget about the decals and paint it to match these Tokheim Oil dispensers.
These pictures were in the first Gas Pump ID book, but they were not in color. They were pulled from the second book in order to make room for more gas pumps.
