the panels had a rectangular Texaco porcelain signs that left screw holes. i wanted to put decals after they where repainted but forgot to have the shop fill them in. the new porcelain sign is a little bigger then the original sign. so i either have to drill new holes and i don't know if i want to drill another set of holes. thats why i was thinking about double sided tape. or maybe ill get lucky and find signs with the same holes.
Just thinking aloud-what about putting a strong magnet on the back side of the panel to hold the plate in place without causing any damage to the paint?
