Respectively decline and tell the gentleman you are looking for something older. That would be a good way to get out of it and still maintain his dignity and respect. You never know: maybe he has some cool signs, old bottles or something else you'd like to score on. Those square boxy SS bodied pumps just aren't that collectable. You're going to spend at least $300-$500 doing a good job of restoring a pump regardless of make and on an older pump you are a lot more likely to make that back down the road. One thing those pumps do have going for them is that the price only goes up to $9.99. That's cool. They must go back to the 60's or very early 70's.
