Hello, I may have a chance to purchase this sign and was wondering what a fair amount to offer the seller would be?Porcelain on both sides is very nice with some minor corrosion on the can. Had neon ring around the outer perimeter. The thing must be 6ft wide but kind of hard to tell as it's up in the air! Any insite would be appreciated! Thanks, Jim

I think you will have 200 to get it down, 400 to put neon on it and a sign that worth a grand or so done up with a very small audience to sell it too. My . 02

Nice sign...Just have to find the right "goodyear" collector. I would say $1,000+.

I agree, 1k-1500 to the right collector with neon replaced. Without that, probably worth 800 fmv. Since the neon is just surround straight runs probably won't be too expensive if you have a working power unit. I'd offer $400 if you have to do the removal, that leaves room to do the repairs to the neon if you want to. That's a picker price, if you plan to keep it, bump the price $200+ to ensure they know you really want it. Figure on neon fix cost to be $400 minimum, and use that as a bargaining chip.

I would get a cherry picker and cut it off at the roof with a pipe cutter or a torch- awesome piece..
