Hi guys, This sign has been in my family for a long time. I haven't seen another one at all the swap meets or petroliana shows I have gone to so far. It is double sided porcelain and is 4ft in diameter. I am curious what it is worth ball park wise? Any info on it as well? Thanks for any information.

The sign is from the early 1930s. Used before and for a few years after the merger between Tide Water Oil Company of New York and Associated Oil Company of San Francisco.... The design is called the "Chicken Wing" version of the Flying A. Here is an advertisement from that time period:

Hopefully it stays in your family, if the other side is the same condition I'd say closer to 3k.

These signs are definitely out there - but pricey. I concur with Neil on price and also hope it stays in the family. Obviously this is one of my favorites.

rbonitz, I love the interior of your building. The way you made it gives it that look and is great for hanging signs. Would love to see more photos!!! Thanks for posting
