Hi all, I just picked up this ~30" Phillips 66 sign marked "S.P.S. 55" at an auction. I think I paid too much but it's the cleanest, minty sign from the 50s I've ever seen. It's also a little unusual in that's it's more reddish than orangeish. The pics don't do it justice - it's red and almost mint. First, are the red ones rarer than the orange ones? Second, what's the value on this? Thanks in advance.

Hard to tell the condition exactly from your pictures but a minty one will easily bring $1000 and possibly $1500 in todays market.
Different shading comes from being made by different sign companies. Not worth any more.
