I have my first Model 50 and was wondering how you get the cam and tumbler and apart. Do you have to grind on the cam and lock to separate them? They look like the are staked.
any help with this matter sure would be helpful.

i have one also and brought mine to a local locksmith he opened it for me but now im having a hard time getting the lock rekeyed
the keys were double sided and not many people have them i bought a universal lock kit and it didnt work so if anyone has a place where i can find a new one let me know.

there is guy on ebay selling a key that fits the old lock for $50 I taught it was to much. So I just took the tumblers out now in the process of tapping the backside of the tumbler to hold the cam on without having to steak it again. I bought my Duncan's 50's from him not what I taught they would be. live and learn.
