My grandpa worked in Helena, Montana back in the day and obtained a bunch of Husky Service signs. I've seen the mileage markers around, but have never seen or heard anything about this round one. It is 11.5" in diameter and has the same image on the back. Has anyone ever seen one of these or know where or how they were used or anything about them?

Eric, I've owned a few Husky signs, but I've never seen anything like yours. My first thought, was the image looked wrong. They eyes seem a little off. Usually, when we see a sign in this good condition, no wear/damage, it's new. Then as DB would say, "what was it used for"? In this case, there aren't any mounting holes, so did it fit into a pedistal type frame? A double sided sign would be needed for that purpose.
Who knows, maybe you found some real gems? These are just my gut feelings.

Being that it's 11.5" in diameter is too small for a Curb sign., & as Don says "No Mounting Holes". MIGHT have been used somehow around the office.
Hopefully 67Chev4X4 [Frank] will chime in soon. Retiree of Frontier/Husky.

Well I saw this post last night but having never seen one like this in my quests so I really didn't have anything to add. One of the questions I wanted to ask last night was it painted or porcelain. Mitch

The sign is painted metal, and although it looks new, it is very old as I've had it since I was a kid and my dad had it for a while before that. As a clarification, we mounted it to the wood board for display. That is not how it was originally displayed.

I thought about saying see if you can get a hold of Jim Neilson in Billings as he is the son of Glenn Neilson the founder of Husky. The last I knew his office there was called Neilson Enterprises. By the way Jim is older than me and I'm 75. Mitch
