Does anyone have or know where I can get the two piece glass top for an American 500?The pump is about the same as the 550 pictured on p.51 of Jack Sim's book, except the 500 has a visigauge on the outside instead of the site glass in the face.THANKS!

A while back I heard about a guy that was looking into getting a pair made, and it was going to cost like 800$

I used a Tokheim 36-B top on my 550 which just happens to line up and it goes with the art deco value of the base.

BTW mine is a clockface and has a visi-gauge on the outside of the pump. And the I.D. tag says it's a 550. Confusing...

c&s,
Some pump company's offered a clockface version at a cheaper price to keep from paying a royalty for useing the veeder-root computer.
