Hi,
I'm new to this forum as well as pump restoration. I recently purchased a Wayne 515 that is pretty much complete. Is it possible to remove all of the insides without dramatically sacrificing the strength of the pump. It will be used strictly for display and be inside.

I am not an expert on restoration, but I have read on this site concerns about the pump becoming "top heavy" without the weight distributed throughout the whole pump and the potential for...."TTTTIIIIMMMMBBBBEEERRRRR."

Did you get that at SeaBash in Seattle?

Alex, Thanks for responding.
I got the pump (and a few others) off of "Craigs list".

Leave the pump mech. in visible's. It will be worth more down the road when it comes time to sell & holds the handle. Also nice to hear the check valves working when handle is worked.
