I am currently working on a Wayne 866. I am totaly up in the air on how to paint it. I like Texaco, I already have a Bennett 766 done in Fire Chief and plan to do the 866 just plain Texaco Star. In the pics here the blue pump is mine and I have no idea who the other one belongs to but I really like the Paint. I was thinking though instead of the silver going with white on mine. Your thoughts or ideas and maybe a pic or two could sway my ideas completely. Love it and hate it all at once.
Thanks Phil

How about a cream color instead of white? You could also do a black pinstripe between the red and cream colors. Bet that would look good on that classy pump. John

Thanks for the ideas. I have a little way to go before I really have to make my mind up, still cleanning and sanding. Just trying to get ahead a bit and decide on the paint

I've always liked the one that Richard did in Red and Black. Be creative, there aren't any "gas pump cops" that will give you a ticket if it's not a certain color. Click on this link, then check the 2nd to last pump towards the bottom of the page. http://www.vintagegas.com/albums/v/pumps/computer/?g2_page=5Don
