1968 Chevrolet C10 Short Wheel Base Stepside

Fresh 350 CI engine, and fresh TH350 Trans
Converted from 6 lug to 5 lug
Power front disc brakes, Power steering
New exhaust, new e-brake setup
5 15X8 Ralleys, with 5 New tires
New shocks, I believe the front end has been gone through
Truck drives nice and tight I drove it 45 miles the other day with zero problems!!!
Truck needs a paint job, interior work, drive it while you work on it.

I always liked the 68-72 Chevy/GMC design, especially the Suburbans.

I just sold this vintage camper shell to a guy locally. He also has 68 C10 stepside and the camper shell actually came off of a 69 GMC stepside. It's been hanging up in the barn rafters for the last 30 years.

What's your bottom dollar and what kind of signs are you looking for? Size and brand.

Also could a person get more pics of the interior and engine com partment?

Porcelain, Size and brand dont really matter just condition. Bottom dollar is $5,000. I will get you some more pictures.

nice truck Joey...power disc brakes..has to be an upgrade...first chevy trucks with disc brakes was 1971...I believe 5 lug was also introduced in '71. new owner would need to know that in the future. was there a parts swap done from a 71/72?
same bed box, front panel and tailgate was used from 1954-1987...only the steps and fenders were changed....
I would buy it in a minute if I didn't already own a '49, 58, and a '71....luv them chevys....
that '68 would be a great buy for someone.

I believe the 5 lug was an option in '70 and standard in '71-'72?? I dont know if thats true or not but what im told?

I listed it as converted but work was done before I got it so unsure what year its from?

Ive had alot of questions on this old truck, If you have any dont hesitate to ask.

And Paddy I think your '71 needs a stable mate?

5 lug was not an option in 1970....the second series 1970 may have had the 5 lug...
the disc brake setup for the front from 1971 - 1987 are the same...also rear axle shafts from a 1971 - 1987 are the same...they will slide out and fit right into the 1968. (1967-1972 are the same series of trucks)
The difference between the GMC and Chevys are that GMC had leaf spring rear suspension and the Chevys rear had trailing arms with coil springs.
Both could have either or by special order.
that is the one thing about chevys...little changed....if it works, don't fix it!!!!

Don't tempt me Joey...I have already made a deal on another truck that I have been chasing for a few years from the owner...
It's not a Chevy, ford or dodge.....
