Can anyone date and value a single lens for me? Th socony is red with blue shadding it has two blue lines above and below small on top and bottom with two wider lines directly above and below the word Socony .Thanks Allan.

Thanks for the reply Richard. I have been trying to transfer pictures to a file i can send out from. I just got the camera and i"m not that sharp on this computor as soon as i can i willsend picture Thanks Allan.

Rex's globe like that (complete) sold for $325. Maybe a little on the low side.

My two cents worth and I'm not that much of a globe guy. I would date the lens late 20's to early 30's. On EBAY 125-150. I forgot about Rex's globe, I agree it was low. What does everyone else think. Richard

Allan I paid $550 for the complete globe. The globe book list the price as $300-$550 Aumann auctions sold it for $325+10% BP.  It was a nice globe a nice buy for sumone. ............... REX LIKES LIFE

Thanks for all the info guys! I will problably keep this for a conversation piece as to how dumb i can be . I paid $300 for the single lens.But i liked the looks of it so i bought it . It'S NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE OVERPAID FOR SOMETHING AND I'M SURE IT WON'T BE THE LAST. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE. Allan.
