I managed to win this globe at the conestoga auction in Manheim, Pa. on feb. 3rd. It had been sitting in a small Americana museum near Lancaster, Pa., no weathering, colors are excellent.

Thanks T-Bone! Wasn't looking to get this one but the bids stopped at 400.00 an that was my bid, all of the compound used to seal the the lens set in is all there. an atlantic imperial gill globe went for 800.00, a rusted globe mount was caulked to the base. Thanks again.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...
