My dad has an aluminum dinosaur that he swears was mounted on a Sinclair gas truck when he was a kid. He was born in 1953. He grew up in Lincolnton, NC and that's where he saw it. Later. when he was married to my stepmom, her aunt had this dinosaur at her house. Her husband drove from an oil company and he physically took this off of a Sinclair truck. You can see the holes in the feet of the dino where it was mounted. It weights 11.6 pounds and is about 28 inches long and 15 inches tall. My dad has had it for decades and my stepmom's aunt had it for decades before that. I understand this may not be an authorized piece of trademarked Sinclair piece and may be something someone made and added to a truck. My dad swears he saw these on local delivery Sinclair trucks all the time when he was a kid. I did speak to a guy last year that told me some Sinclair reps would create some of their own "Sinclair" items for their trucks or stores and this may have been one of those instances but he did not know for sure. I'm curious if anyone has seen anything like this and interested to hear your theories to share with my dad. Regardless of any authenticity, it is one of his most prized possessions because it reminds him of his childhood. I have more pics but it limited me to 4. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

He says it was mounted on the roof of the truck cab.
