I'm finally sitting down to share photo's of my 5-Gal Fry restoration completed over the winter. I acquired the pump in Michigan and it just didn't have the patina and needed parts to complete, so I decided to restore it.
The pump was stripped, and powder coated (primer and color). I have the floats but haven't restored them yet, and I need the badging. Thanks to Ron Scobie and others on this site for their support with parts and/or experience to aid me in this project.
I know the Crown globe, which is an original, is not original to this specific pump but I liked it and it allowed space for me to put the pump in my garage. I did open up pump to free it up and cleaned and polished the inside so pump does operate. This was my first restoration of this caliber so I'm pretty proud how it came out. NFS

That is an impressive job. Just like new only better... With the garage floor and that little nook, seems like that FRY 5 has found a home ...

Beautiful pump! How long of hose you go with? That has the perfect length. Get the full flow nozzle from Ron Scobie?

Just catching up. Missed your question. I went with a 10' hose. 8' seemed too short.
