Tearing down a Wayne 60 wide. It doesn't have site glasses, It is a metal plate with a gasket in the site glass ring. Anybody ever come across this?

I've come across that with numerous pumps that were used on farms and non-retail use.

Yes, Duane is correct. Glass breaks and the farmer replaces it with metal and a gasket. Or the oil company did it before they gave the pump to the farm.

One of the old gas pump mechanics at my old job told me that some states banned glass sight glasses at some point, and they had a kit to delete them.
