I had these gas globe display bases made by a wood craftsman some years ago, and now have some never-used extras to sell. These well-made wood bases can be stained OR can be painted white, depending on your taste. These bases measure 9" square by 2-1/4" high They are glued and screwed together for strength. The top edges are rounded with a shaper bit, and all surfaces are finished sanded.

These nicely-done gas globe are ready to stain or paint. My photos give you an idea of how these bases look stained or painted white. Please note: The electric sockets, cord, and bulb are NOT INCLUDED. I may have some new and used sockets here that I will make you a good deal on, OR your near-by home improvement store will have everything you need to mount the bulb for not much money.

I have SIX of these ready-to-finish wood gas globe bases available. The price is just $17 each, plus the shipping. Thanks for looking. John

Hi, John. Always good to hear from you, and thanks for your positive comments. YES, on these bases being smooth enough to be painted black. Each guy's taste varies of course, but if the decision was made to go with black, I'd probably lean toward a satin black...but that's just me. John
