I have a few questions about gas pump hoses….

1) Does anyone know approximately when they converted from cloth hoses to rubber hoses when pumps were sold new?

2) Does anyone know approximately when they stopped using 1” hose for gasoline (not talking about diesel) and switched to 3/4” hose when pumps were sold new?

I’m just trying to figure out what hoses should be on which pumps. I understand they were used long after their time of purchase.

Please only answer if you have some knowledge. Please no guesses. Thank you all so much in advance.

Well I was able to use the gas pump bible to figure out the cloth question.

I still need help with question number two.
