Ok, amateur question regarding My Red Crown globe. I purchased a nice legitimate M&S 80 with an original Red Crown globe this summer & noticed that on the large bottom rim of the crown it is embossed: "Property of The Standard Oil Co.".

Is this "standard" for all of their globes, or did it fall into a particular era? My only other crown is a repop, so I'm clueless. Rick S.
