I attended the CTO show on Friday and there was some talk about a vender having had his truck and trailer, which was full of signs, stolen from the parking lot. Does anyone know if this is true or just a show rumor? If the theft is real it might help if information was posted on this site that could aid in the recover of any stolen items.

It is true. I attend the show every year. I’m not going to say who’s it was, I think that is personal. However, it was four guys looking to steal Ford trucks. I heard they had key fobs (thieves can re-program key fobs with stolen computers from dealers - happens all the time). They probably had no idea what the merchandise was or what it’s worth. It wasn’t about the merchandise; it’s just typical car thieves that hit hotels all the time. They broke into a few trucks and finally got one to start. Yes it was a truck and trailer full of merchandise. I feel so bad for the guy who owns it, and hope the criminals rot in hell.

I saw on FB this morning that the trailer was located with contents intact.
