Thanks Dean! Forgot to mention my father restored this one, all I did was the Mobilgas sign and the silver lettering.

First rate Paul. Interesting choice of colors for Mobil. I wouldn't necessarily think of using black. It works well for the pump.

Thanks! I hate red and white, that would be the normal "go to" colors for Mobil. Some of the older Mobil stuff used red/black, we probably overused the black but I think some artistic license is OK. We saw some other Simplex pumps painted this way, liked it, so we decided to go this route.

No you didn't. I think you balanced the colors perfectly, good contrast. The silver numbers pop on the black. I feel that in the hobby of pump restoration an artistic license is required. Remember, it is all about having fun. Your talent shows.

Your father's work is "spot-on" .... that is just a spectacular looking piece of work smile The 3-d Mobil badge that you had printed looks amazing as well! I'm sure that took more than a few hours to complete, what a labor of love. Appreciate ya showing us all.. be well.

Thanks for the nice comments, yeah that little MobilGas stamped sign took forever, I was "off the clock" learning that process for sure.
