Haven't posted for a while. I just bought the white version of the spinner. Am showing the red one I already had to show how they worked. this was part of Texaco's change your oil in the spring and fall program. Think they did that in 1935(ish). The "new" Texaco can is the other version of the Teaco airplane can. The seeds are only the second and third I have seen. These are the ones from the 60s...I have an original display piece. Am tempted to take some out and plant them. The banner is from about 1956 when Texaco came out with Petrox additive. these usually went between the pumps on the light poles.
