How to remove the sight glass on Wayne 60/70 ?
I know they make a special tool but my chain wrench serves the same purpose.
Is a little heat required ?

I use heat and Kroils. If it proves too tight, you might lose the glass? They can be a challenge though. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

That special tool was useless, it just deformed and broke before the sight glass moved. I oiled for days, then heat, then a massive plumbers wrench with a 6 foot pole on the end. That got it.

I had the same issues removing the sight glass nuts. I used the same methods of heat, penetrating oil, and a pipe on the handle for leverage. I used the tool from Gas Pump Heaven, It worked well. I was able to remove the nuts without destroying them.
