About twenty years ago, I got a call from the largest oil company in the Baltimore area. I had been doing restoration work for them and they wanted me to come out to their main bulk plant. When I got there, I was shown an old metal building and asked to clean it out. I was more than happy to help out. The building was slated for demolition and the time was short. I got several truck loads of signs, pump parts, oil cans, give away items and even a large inflatable oil can with blower as used in station openings. Fast forward to now,....while digging through the barn today, I came across three boxes of N.O.S. painted, double sided Propane Exchange signs. They are 24" wide by 18" tall. They are still covered in the clear wrap for protection. Manufactured by: May Advertising, Box 161789, Ft, Worth, TX. 76161 dated 1998. Now, you might think that it's not very long ago but consider that it has been 25 years. These signs have not seen the light of day in all that time.
