So, I had a set of packing followers and packing nuts machined out for my Fry 17, and they fit perfectly.. I was very impressed. I have the question now. If I have a few more sets made up, will they fit other 17 and 117?? Any other Fry models?

Hello Jeremy,
Does your pump look like this one ? I have only seen two versions of the internal pump ?I believe that this style pump was used on most Fry models.
Please post photos of your pump and parts.

Hi Jeremy, Are these also to fit the pipe inside the long door by the gallon selectors? If so I would be interested in a set.

Hey Guys.. Yes the ones I'm talking about are the ones inside along the door for the overflow pipe.. Just wondering if I had a few more if they would fit other 17 and 117??

Dave, I forgot about the one on the pump.. Mine is like the one you posted in the pic and the nut is missing.. Haven't crossed that bridge yet. I would like to have a couple more pump mechanisms too..

The fella I'm working with has only done my one set.. I don't know if he would be willing to make many more.. I'll just have to see.

Jeremy's original question is "Will the upper and lower packing nuts on the measuring tube of a Fry 17 fit a Fry 117?"

I haven't compared them side by side off of the pumps, but I would assume they are the same size. I believe the measuring tube is the same diameter on the 17 and 117. The packing nuts looked the same size on my Fry 77, but I did not measure them.

Talked with my Machinest.. He wanted me to measure the OD of the male threads & count the threads per inch.. Can a couple of you fellas do that and we'll compare them to mine..?? I would greatly the help..
