Anyone ever seen one of these? A friend who was in the pump repair business way back before pumps became collectible removed it from a Wayne 60. He believes it to be a factor retrofit item for pumps made without globe holders. The light manifold that was in the pump also appears to have some modifications made to it for the third lamp socket. Have any of you seen one before?

Never seen one but they did a lot of different things back then. More than likely it wasn't a factory retrofit, or we would see more of them. It was likely a pump mechanic that was pleasing his customer by coming up with a cheap way to add a globe holder. He did a nice job, whoever it was!

Not a Wayne 60 piece. That is a globe holder and top skin that has been trimmed off of another pump. An economical and quick alternative by someone wanting to place a globe on a Wayne 60.
Would be out of place on top of such an art deco and majestic pump as a Wayne 60 in my opinion.

Thanks for the replies. I think oslosteve have nailed it. It's too flat under the globe ring to fit tight on the 60.
