I am selling some reproduction road map holders. I made these to closely resemble the original Mobilgas map racks, but changed the dimensions slightly and used unbranded markings. They can easily go with any red and white themed service station.
I make these by hand in my small shop garage. They are made out of 20 gauge cold rolled sheet metal, bent and formed on a box brake and a bead roller, and then spot welded together. After that they are sand blasted to etch the surface and painted with an oil enamel, with the final stenciling being painted on as well.
13”x24.5” are the overall dimensions.
