This Mobilgas Aircraft porcelain pump plate measures 13” x 12” and has the wide white border. As shown in the pictures this one is in almost perfect condition. These shield-shaped pump plates came in four different versions: a solid blue border (east coast), a solid black border (west coast), a wide white border (central & southwest), and a thin white border (used nationwide). I acquired it from a gentleman who once was Gulf Coast Transportation Manager at Mobil, who thought it had never been used. It has the McMath-Axelrod manufacturer’s mark at the bottom center. $4,500 including shipping, or best offer. You’re not likely to find a better one out there.
