Yes, Roy, I have fond memories of using these belt-mounting coin changers. I was working at a Hudson station in Cedar Rapids, Iowa during college. HOWEVER, we we instructed to wear our changers on the SIDE of our waist (unlike the guy in your photo). That way, there wasn't any chance of scratching the car's paint, when we were cleaning the windshield and checking the oil. Funny what a guy remembers after sixty years!

Thanks also for bringing back memories of the traveling salesman with a 1949 BUICK. He'd come in for three gallons of gas EVERY morning (a purchase that totaled less than a dollar). He'd demand that we check the air pressure in all of his tires daily, in addition to having his oil checked and windows washed. John
