For this month we are going to do one of my favorite pumps! I am picking the National 50 and 51 aka the “Duplex”! These pumps are absolutely beautiful and in my opinion blow the national simplex out of the water with their unique looks! With a tall, slim, art deco form these are unique all the way around. Both of these models are hand operated but the 51 has a different set of faces. These pumps were made from roughly 1918-1932 along side many other out siding pimps during this time. My brother and I tried and tried to obtain a beautiful duplex that was local to us, but slipped out of our hands. These pumps and outstanding and these are very heavy!! Feel free to add information!
